“Triple-I” Italian Immaginative Innovators, a series of meetings with Italian business leaders which is organised by this Embassy, was launched yesterday. The meetings are set up to promote talks between Italian business champions and other experts on economic and financial matters.
Ambassador Pasquale Terracciano introduced yesterday’s “Corporate Italia: A Vision for the Future”, the first in the Triple-I series, which was organised in cooperation with “Mediobanca Research & Studies” and saw the participation of the featured speaker Alberto Nagel, Mediobanca CEO.
While talking about the Italian economy, Mr Nagel spoke of the potentially significant benefits that the Fourth Industrial Revolution could have on Italy’s economic recovery, especially as far as small and medium enterprises are concerned. Furthermore, he added that long-term prospects for the economy can further improve with the strengthening of infrastructure and the completion of the reform process currently underway in Italy.
The next Triple-I event is planned for 8 June when this Embassy will host Antonio D’Amato, current CEO, SEDA Group and former President of the Italian Industrial Federation.
