The decoration was awarded in recognition of Lacqua\u2019s achievements in the field of journalism and for the role she has played in guiding media narratives away from stereotypes and towards a more accurate depiction of the economic and financial situation in Italy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In recent years Lacqua has participated in numerous events held by the embassy to promote Italian trade in the UK, notably <strong>Italian Imaginative Innovators<\/strong> (<strong>Triple I<\/strong>), a series of talks illustrating Italian entrepreneurial excellence and promoting an updated image of Italy that reflects the latest developments in the country\u2019s economic recovery.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Since beginning her career at Bloomberg\u2019s London office, Lacqua has been widely lauded for her talent as a TV presenter.
