He obtained a degree in Political Sciences from Federico II University in Naples and a master\u2019s in European Studies from the London School of Economics, beginning his diplomatic career in 1985.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is his second posting to London: he previously served here as consul from 1990 to 1995. His career also includes postings in Bogot\u00e1, Brussels, Beijing and Brasilia; in the latter he was ambassador from 2013 to 2016.
