These scholarships, totalling \u00a310,500, will help these students achieve their academic, professional and artistic ambitions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Il Circolo, established in 1994, is a registered UK charity with headquarters in London. Its purpose is to promote Italian culture and research in the UK and to create a network of people who share an interest in and a love for Italy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The association has also recently held fundraising events to contribute to two scholarships for the Italy Made Me competition, which will be awarded on 30 June 2017 at King&#8217;s College London.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"This morning, in the presence of Karen Terracciano, the wife of the ambassador, scholarships were awarded for the 2017-18 academic year to nine students who had won a competition run by the Italian cultural association Il Circolo.
