He gave a speech on the theme of migration: \u201c<strong>The Promised Land: Migration, Europe and the Mediterranean Challenge<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The Ambassador\u2019s talk focused on the need for a European Strategy and a common EU policy to meet the geopolitical challenges of the Mediterranean and\u00a0the refugees crisis.<\/p>\n<p>During his speech, Ambassador Terracciano also talked about the fight against ISIS, the situation in Nigeria and of the hardships of Christian minorities in Africa and the Middle East.<\/p>\n<p>A Question and Answer session with the audience\u00a0took place following\u00a0the talk.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A moment\u00a0during the Ambassador&#8217;s speech on migration at Lincoln College, Oxford.
