{"id":1520,"date":"2015-05-15T11:56:42","date_gmt":"2015-05-15T09:56:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amblondra.esteri.it\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2015\/05\/borsa-di-studio-meredith-kercher-2\/"},"modified":"2015-05-15T11:56:42","modified_gmt":"2015-05-15T09:56:42","slug":"borsa-di-studio-meredith-kercher-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amblondra.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2015\/05\/borsa-di-studio-meredith-kercher-2\/","title":{"rendered":"SCHOLARSHIP IN MEMORY OF MEREDITH SUSANNA CARA KERCHER FOR THE 2014-2015 ACADEMIC YEAR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In 2012, the <STRONG>City Council of Perugia<\/STRONG>, <STRONG>The University for Foreigners of Perugia<\/STRONG> and <STRONG>ADISU<\/STRONG> (Umbria Agency for the Right to Study) dedicated a <STRONG>two-month scholarship<\/STRONG> in memory of student <STRONG>Meredith Susanna<\/STRONG> <STRONG>Cara Kercher<\/STRONG>. <BR><BR>This scholarship initiative enables a British student to stay in Perugia for two months, where he or she will study Italian language and culture at the University for Foreigners of Perugia.<BR> <BR>More specifically, the Agency for the Right to University in Umbria (ADISU) will cover the visiting student\u2019s accommodation costs by providing a room at one of the university residences and free food service at the university\u2019s canteen.<BR><BR>The winner of the bursary is chosen by the Italian Embassy in London and must complete the two-month period of study in Perugia by the end of the 2015 calendar year. Please note that to be eligible, <STRONG>candidates must be British citizens<\/STRONG>.<BR> <BR><STRONG>Applications will have to be submitted to this Embassy by Monday, 15 June 2015<\/STRONG>, by writing to the e-mail account provided in the application form.
