Italian Ideas that Transform\u201d kicks off: Italy\u2019s innovation in the spotlight at the Embassy in London"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>London, 17 November 2025 \u2013 The Italian Embassy in London has launched a new series of events dedicated to innovation and start-ups with a seminar on artificial intelligence, titled <em><strong>\u201cThe Age of AI\u201d<\/strong><\/em>. The series, called <em><strong>\u201cThe Pulse of Progress. Italian Ideas that Transform<\/strong><\/em><em>\u201d<\/em>, is organised in collaboration with <strong>TechItalia Lab<\/strong>, a leading London-based network for Italian start-ups in the UK, and the ICE office in London.<\/p>\n<p>The opening event featured, among others, <strong>Wikipedia<\/strong> founder <strong>Jimmy Wales<\/strong>, who participated in a panel on the challenges and opportunities related to artificial intelligence, alongside representatives from AI Technologies, <strong>Nscale<\/strong>, the venture capital fund <strong>Bluelake VC<\/strong>, and the <strong>University of Oxford<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Following the panel, a fireside chat between <strong>Pier Paolo Mucelli<\/strong>, founder of <strong>TechItalia Lab<\/strong>, and <strong>Luca Cartechini<\/strong>, founder of <strong>Shopcircle<\/strong>, highlighted the growth journey of a start-up born from Italian talent and vision, which in just four years has attracted over $100 million in investment thanks to the adoption of AI-based solutions.<\/p>\n<p>During the evening, founders of emerging innovative companies presented their projects to a large audience of businesses and investors.<\/p>\n<p>Opening the series, the <strong>Italian Ambassador to the United Kingdom,<\/strong> <strong>Inigo Lambertini<\/strong>, emphasized the decisive contribution of Italian scientists to the development of artificial intelligence.
