The Embassy of Italy hosted an event on 28 April 2022 on the Premier League, the most prestigious British football championship and one of the UK’s most successful cultural products, thirty years after it was founded.<\/p>\n
The event looked at the Premier League’s sporting, economic and management success, highlighting the contribution of Italian players, coaches and managers. A comparison was drawn with Serie A, a model that emerged in the 80s and 90s, and examined the ways in which it could take inspiration from the Primer League.<\/p>\n
The guests included figures from Italian football in the UK, including Gianfranco Zola, Roberto Di Matteo, Carlo Cudicini, Carlo Ancelotti, Fabio Capello, Roberto Mancini <\/strong>and Claudio Ranieri<\/strong>.
