She gave an overview of the opportunities and challenges presented by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.horizon-eu.eu\/\" title=\"Horizon Europe site\">Horizon Europe<\/a> programme<\/strong>, which was launched last year by the European Commission to subsidise European research and innovation projects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The presentation was preceded by a welcome address by the deputy head of mission, Minister <strong>Alessandro Motta<\/strong>, and an introduction by the scientific attach\u00e9, Professor <strong>Roberto Buizza<\/strong>. Professor Carrozza then gave an overview of the reformed structure of the CNR, designed to respond to current needs in scientific research, retain Italian talent and seek collaboration with scientific organisations in other countries.
