Today Ambassador Fabio Cassese presented his credentials to HM King Charles III, in a ceremony held according to the traditional protocol for the accreditation of diplomatic heads of mission in the UK. It marked His Majesty’s government’s recognition of him as Ambassador of Italy to the Court of St James and thus the official beginning of his term in London.<\/p>\n
The ceremony coincided with the third anniversary of the coronation of King Charles, as well as with the announcement that Princess Catherine will be visiting Italy in the middle of this month. This first visit abroad since she recovered from cancer will mark her return to royal duties.<\/p>\n
