﻿{"id":745,"date":"2021-01-15T16:26:36","date_gmt":"2021-01-15T15:26:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amblondra.esteri.it\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2021\/01\/aggiornamento-15-gennaio-2021-spostamenti-2\/"},"modified":"2021-01-15T16:26:36","modified_gmt":"2021-01-15T15:26:36","slug":"aggiornamento-15-gennaio-2021-spostamenti-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amblondra.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2021\/01\/aggiornamento-15-gennaio-2021-spostamenti-2\/","title":{"rendered":"UPDATE \u2013 15 JANUARY 2021 TRAVELLING TO ITALY UNTIL 5 MARCH 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>TRAVELLING TO ITALY 15 JANUARY 2021 &#8211; 5 MARCH 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>The information below is based on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.governo.it\/sites\/new.governo.it\/files\/Dpcm_14_gennaio_2021.pdf\"><strong>Prime Ministerial Decree of 14 January 2021<\/strong><\/a>, which confirms until 5 March 2021 the provisions of the Ordinance of 9 January 2021, recalling also the provisions of the <strong>Ordinances of 20 December 2020<\/strong> and of <strong>23 December 2020<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ENTERING ITALY UNTIL 5 MARCH 2021: TRAVELLERS WHO STAYED IN OR TRANSITED THROUGH THE UK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Based on the decree of 14 January 2021 and on the Ordinance of 9 January 2021, entry into Italy is not allowed to those who stayed in or transited through the UK in the previous 14 days.<\/p>\n<p>If you have stayed in\/transited through the UK in the previous 14 days, entry into Italy is permitted <strong>only under the following conditions and provided that no COVID-19 symptoms are observed<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>a) Entry is allowed to those who have been <strong>registered as resident in Italy<\/strong> since before 23 December 2020 <strong>or<\/strong> in cases of <strong>absolute necessity<\/strong>. <strong>Written declaration<\/strong> of the fact must be provided.<\/p>\n<p>b) In order to enter Italy, travellers must present to the airline or other carrier, at the time of embarcation, and to the relevant authorities upon request, proof of a <strong>negative molecular or antigen swab test taken in the 72 hours preceding entry into Italy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>c) Another molecular or antigen swab test must be taken upon arrival. If possible, it should be taken at the airport, port or border; if not, it should be taken at the local health centre within 48 hours of entering Italy. For passengers arriving on <strong>direct flights from the UK, the second test must be carried out at the airport<\/strong> upon arrival.<\/p>\n<p>d) Irrespective of the result of the test, travellers must <strong>self-isolate for 14 days<\/strong> and must <strong>monitor their health<\/strong>, as per art. 7, section 1, letter c), of the Prime Ministerial Decree of 3 December 2020. They must also notify the Department of Prevention of the local health authority of their arrival in the country.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Entry into Italy will continue to be prohibited for those who do not meet the criteria indicated in letter a) above,<\/strong> as per the Ordinances of 9 January 2021 and 20 December 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Provided that no COVID-19 symptoms are observed, the <strong>crew and travelling staff working in the transport of people and goods<\/strong> are <strong>not subject<\/strong> to the provisions of the Ordinances, as listed above. However, they are <strong>still required to undergo a molecular or antigen swab test upon arrival<\/strong> at the airport, port or border, where possible, or within 48 hours of entering Italy at the local health authority, and to provide a written declaration as per art. 7 of the Prime Ministerial Decree of 3 December 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">There are no other exceptions<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>TRAVELLING TO THE UK<\/strong><br \/>As of 23 December 2020, the UK was moved to <strong>List E<\/strong>.
