The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has released scholarships for the 2021-22 academic year for two courses run by the Accademia d’Arti e Mestieri dello Spettacolo Teatro alla Scala:
1. Advanced opera singing
The Ministry is offering up to 10 scholarships of 9 months each for advanced opera singing courses. They comprise monthly payments of €900, starting from 1 January 2022.

2. Postgraduate course in Performing Arts Management
This is a management and economics course specifically tailored to high-level professionals in the field of live performance.
Up to 9 scholarships will be available. They will comprise monthly payments of €900 for 6 months starting from 1 January 2022.
The deadline for application is 16 September 2021 for candidates from non-EU countries.
