ITALIAN AMBASSADOR, PASQUALE TERRACCIANO, VISITS THE UNIVERSITY OF BRISTOL

The Ambassador of Italy to the UK visits Bristol, a cultural point of reference for Southwest England.

Ambassador Pasquale Terracciano and Consul General Massimiliano Mazzanti visited Bristol today. The main moments of the visit included: meeting with George Ferguson, Mayor of Bristol and with academic representatives at the University of Bristol.

Upon arriving on campus, the Ambassador and the Consul General met with professors and researchers of the Department of Italian, with whom they discussed about the diffusion of Italian and current trends in the Italian studies programme.

Following a working lunch which was offered by the Honorary Consul, Cristina Rossi Orlando, Ambassador Terracciano met with representatives of the Italian community in Bristol who work in various fields.
