The Italian Embassy in London and Legance law firm have organised, as part of an ongoing series of annual joint-events, a conference on “Equity and Debt Investment in Italy”, which is taking place this morning at the Italian Embassy in London.
The Conference is part of a broader effort by the Italian government and other national authorities to strengthen relations with the London financial sector (3 Prime Minister visits since 2014, more than 15 ministerial-level since 2014 involving the portfolios of Economics, Finance, Commerce, Industry, Energy, Infrastructure and Justice; more than 4 visits by high representatives of the Italian National Bank, Banca d’Italia); more than 8 visits of high representatives of the national authorities which deal with commercial promotion, exports, credit, investment attraction and anti-corruption.
The conference is to be seen as part of a greater framework of initiatives (there have been 35 events in this field since 2014) which have been organised by the Italian Embassy in London to promote a regular dialogue with the London–based business and finance community (including investors, analysts, banking professionals, specialised journalists) on the opportunities that the Italian market offers.
During the morning, four roundtables will take place in front of an audience, during which senior representatives of the sector will discuss the subject matter with the Founding and Senior Partners of Legance law firm, Filippo Troisi, Bruno Bartocci, Andrea Giannelli, along with the firm’s London Managing Partner, Marco Gubitosi.
