The Embassy of Italy in London, in collaboration with Voiceroom, hosted the event “Ferrari: Fast Forward” at the Ambassador’s Residence, featuring Ferrari’s Chief Executive Officer, Benedetto Vigna.

The event opened with remarks by Ambassador Fabio Cassese, who underlined: “Ferrari is, in many ways, far more than a company. It is a symbol of Italy’s ability to combine engineering precision with artistic vision, performance with beauty, innovation with identity. It represents what we might define as the Italian saper fare.

The conversation, moderated by Voiceroom Director Caitlin Lin, developed as a dynamic dialogue on Vigna’s personal and professional journey: from his studies in physics to his transition into the industrial world, and ultimately to leading one of the most iconic brands in the world.

During the meeting, Vigna offered a reflection on the value of Ferrari, not only through excellence in engineering and craftmanship, but also as a global symbol of luxury, innovation, and Italian style. Attention was also given to the brand’s roots, founded in Maranello, and to the strategic role of the Motor Valley, a unique ecosystem that has helped shape an identity recognized well beyond the world of motorsport enthusiasts.

The new Ferrari Luce, soon to be fully unveiled attracted particular interest among student and industry participants. It is the first fully electric car in Ferrari’s history and represents a fundamental milestone in the company’s electrified future, combining tradition and innovation.

The initiative is part of a broader framework of activities aimed at promoting Italian excellence in the United Kingdom, fostering dialogue among institutions, businesses, and the international community on the themes of innovation and Italian industrial excellence.
