The AIM listing of SEC is taking place in a moment of market volatility and launches an important message of confidence in the Italian economy
Deputy Head of Mission of the Italian Embassy in London, Minister Vincenzo Celeste, took part this morning in a ceremony for the market launch of Societas Europea ad Communicationes (SEC), an Italian agency dealing in communication strategies, advocacy and public relations, on the London Stock Exchange’s AIM listing.
SEC is already present in Italy, France, Poland and the United Kingdom and aims to further expand its operations in other continents, confirming and strengthening the agency’s ambition to increase its international presence.
Minister Celeste, who participated in the capacity of Head of Mission ad interim, congratulated Fiorenzo Tagliabue, president and founder of the agency established in Milan in 1989 and company CEO Cesare Valli, underlining the important role that SEC has played in successfully and efficiently running the communication needs and event organisation during both the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the second semester of 2014, as well as last year’s Milan Expo.
“I would like to express my gratitude to the SEC for their courageous decision to enter the AIM listing in a moment of great economic uncertainty. This demonstrates that when an industrial plan is valid and convincing, it can overcome external elements of uncertainty,” commented the Minister Celeste while speaking to representatives of the Group during the ceremony that took place at Paternoster Square.
