London, 19 March 2026 – Yesterday the Ambassador of Italy in London, Inigo Lambertini, inaugurated the “Benfatto” exhibition. The exhibition celebrates the excellence of Italian high craftsmanship, showcasing works by 18 companies that represent the sector’s finest traditions and innovations.
The exhibition highlights the value of Italian craftsmanship through a curated selection of unique pieces that emphasize artisanal techniques, premium materials, and skills handed down through generations. Each creation embodies a refined balance between tradition and innovation, where contemporary design languages harmoniously coexist with Italy’s rich artisanal heritage.
Promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency and Confartigianato, with the support of Alcaline Group.
Curated by architects Tiziana Burrini and Attilio Lapietra, “Benfatto” presents an exhibition path designed to enhance each individual work, underlining its identity, quality, beauty, and the concept of the “well-made.” The exhibition design explores the dialogue between past and present, where new forms and creative languages do not replace tradition but rather integrate with it in a coherent and contemporary synthesis.
The exhibition will be open to the public from 23 March to 15 May, by reservation via the Billetto platform (https://billetto.co.uk/e/benfatto-exhibition-tickets-1888482).
“Benfatto” will also be part of the official programme of London Craft Week (11–17 May), one of the most important international events dedicated to craftsmanship.
