SCHOLARSHIP IN MEMORY OF MEREDITH SUSANNA CARA KERCHER FOR THE 2014-2015 ACADEMIC YEAR

In 2012, the City Council of Perugia, The University for Foreigners of Perugia and ADISU (Umbria Agency for the Right to Study) dedicated a two-month scholarship in memory of student Meredith Susanna Cara Kercher.

This scholarship initiative enables a British student to stay in Perugia for two months, where he or she will study Italian language and culture at the University for Foreigners of Perugia.

More specifically, the Agency for the Right to University in Umbria (ADISU) will cover the visiting student’s accommodation costs by providing a room at one of the university residences and free food service at the university’s canteen.

The winner of the bursary is chosen by the Italian Embassy in London and must complete the two-month period of study in Perugia by the end of the 2015 calendar year. Please note that to be eligible, candidates must be British citizens.

Applications will have to be submitted to this Embassy by Monday, 15 June 2015, by writing to the e-mail account provided in the application form. The recipient of the scholarship will be announced by the end of June.
