ITALYMADEME: recognizing emerging Italian excellence in UK research

The research prizes ItalyMadeMe, supported by the Italian Embassy and the Association “Il Circolo” , were presented by Ambassador Pasquale Terracciano during an event that was held at the Italian Embassy on Friday July 10.

The prizes were assigned in recognition of outstanding research performed in UK by Italian citizens at a very early stage of their career, who have received part of their education in Italy. The selection of 6 winners, among the 58 applications received, was carried out by a panel of experts who are members of the Scientific Council of the Italian Embassy in London.

After the prizes were awarded, the results of a research aiming to map all Italian academics in UK were presented, as was the re-launch of the Association of Italian scientists in UK (AISUK).
