London will host, on 9th March, the event “Made in Italy 2.0.2.0.” organised by iStarter, a London-based accelerator targeting Italian start-ups. The initiative is designed to help some Italian start-ups with large growth potential to scale up, assisting them with the search of the necessary investments in a dynamic venture capital market. The day will see the participants attend the London Stock Exchange opening of trading. The programme will continue at the headquarters of Wayra, the global start-up accelerator of Telefonica, which will host a panel focused on “the scale-up challenge in Europe”. This will be followed by a “pitch” session where ten innovative start-ups, selected by five Italian accelerators, will have the opportunity to explain their business to a selected audience made up of venture capital investors. The day will end with a networking event, which will be hosted at the Italian Embassy, with the participation of startuppers, Italian investors and accelerators.
