Award for Italian researchers and startuppers operating abroad – Call for applications

The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has invited applications for its third annual award for Italian researchers and startuppers operating abroad.

The award includes two categories:

The “Italian Bilateral Scientific Cooperation Award”, which recognises eminent Italian scientists whose research abroad has made a significant contribution to the advancement of science and technology, thus improving Italy’s relations in this field with other countries and international organisations;The “Innovation that speaks Italian” award, which recognises the highly innovative value of technology startups founded outside Italy by Italian citizens.

The deadline for applications is February 4th, 2019.

The award, which consists of a medal and a certificate from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, will be presented in Rome during the Conference of Italian Scientific Attachés (date to be announced soon).
