The Ministry of Culture has released the first version of Musei Italiani (Italian Museums), a free app that provides information in Italian and English on 406 museums and archaeological sites around the country and allows users to buy tickets. Many of these sites previously did not offer this service.
Further features are also being developed, such as recommended itineraries, audioguides, video guides and versions in other languages, to improve the visitor experience and facilitate access to cultural sites.
