FILL is a festival of Italian literature and ideas created by an independent group of London-based Italian intellectuals, journalists, translators and academics in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute. The two-day festival features a wide range of Italian and international voices discussing, among others: literature, politics, migration, translation and contemporary topics in the setting of the historic Victorian Coronet Theatre in Notting Hill.
This year, on the occasion of the third edition of the festival, FILL will be preceded by an “Extra Fill” with a calendar of special events, in London and in Edinburgh.
The Festival of Italian Literature in London is created with the Italian Cultural Institute (Istituto Italiano di Cultura) in London, and with a wide network of partners including Banor Capital, BellevilleOnline, the British Council, English PEN, Kings College London, the French Institute (Institut Francais), Turin International Book Fair (Salone Internazionale del Libro), as well as The Coronet Theatre in Notting Hill.
All the festival sessions will be in English or with English translation provided. The complete programme and tickets for FILL 2019 are available on the website of the festival.
