Space2Growth – An event to stimulate Italian and UK space collaboration as a catalyst for growth

On 28 February 2022 the Embassy will host a special networking event on Italian-UK space collaboration: “Space2Grow”.

Location: Embassy of Italy in London, 4 Grosvenor Square, London, W1K 4AE

Space2Grow is part of Italy4Innovation, an original series launched by the Embassy of Italy in London to promote a more structured collaboration between Italian and UK innovation ecosystems.

Space2Grow is organised in close partnership with Telespazio UK, a subsidiary of Telespazio (a 67/33% joint venture between Leonardo and Thales), and will feature senior speakers and representatives from the Italian, UK and European Space Agencies, the space industry and academia.

The event will focus on promoting Italian and UK Space collaboration as a catalyst for growth.

The key topics to be discussed include:

• Italy and the UK are key contributors to ESA and international missions

• How can collaboration between Italy and the UK help to deliver the UK national space strategy?

• The critical role of innovation in space for future growth

• The role of space in sustainability (climate and responsible use of space)

The key speakers will be:
